Plot Summary: The year is 1928 A.D. The place is New York, U.S.A. Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion (TV) S1

Plot Summary :
The Empire of Britannia has invaded Japan using giant robot weapons called Knightmare Frames. Japan is now referred to as Area 11, and its people the 11's. A Britannian who was living in Japan at the time, Lelouch, vowed to his Japanese friend Suzaku that he'd destroy Britannia. Years later, Lelouch is in high school, but regularly skips out of school to go play chess and gamble on himself. One day, he stumbles on terrorists 11's who've stolen a military secret and is caught by a member of the Britannian task force sent after them, who is Suzaku. As the rest of the squad arrives, Suzaku is shot for disobeying orders, while the military secret, a young girl, gives Lelouch the power of Geass, which makes anyone obey any order. While Suzaku is secretly made the pilot of Britannia's brand new prototype Knightmare, Lancelot, Lelouch becomes the masked Zero to lead the rebellion to destroy Britannia once and for all.

This anime traces the path of up and coming young cook, Mao in 19th Century China on his road to `Special Grade` Cook and his journeys in search of the `Legendary Cooking Utensils`.
Ju Xia Lou is a restaurant in the southwest region of China in the 19th century. After the death of Pai, the owner of the restaurant, his daughter Karin and her brother Mao help to run the restaurant. One day, Mao and another cook, Shao An who was Pai`s understudy, confront each other for the position of head cook. The solution? A `cook-off`.
General Lee, an expert in Chinese cooking is asked to be the judge. Both young men are extremely good, but possess very different cooking styles. After their sumptuous feat, the general dubs Mao the winner, and realizing the boy`s genius and natural skill, sends him on a journey to south China - the mecca of cooking - to become a Special Grade or Master Cook. He faces more challenges on his journey, and his skills are pitted against other cooking masters.

Based on a shounen manga by Yagi Norihiro serialised in Monthly Shounen Jump.
The setting of the story is a fictional world of abundant towns where humans coexist with demons called Yoma. These monsters feed on humans as their main source of food, hiding themselves in human society until they strike.
A group of skilled warriors form a nameless organization to protect humans from these demons. These warriors are called Claymores, after their immense Claymore weapons. They willingly infuse themselves with demon flesh and blood to become powerful half-human hybrids. Villages in danger of attack hire warriors from the organisation for protection.
The story of Claymore follows the adventures of the beautiful Claymore warrior Claire, who fights demons and struggles to hold on to her humanity.
Long ago, the Yoma, the shape changing demons, took human form to live in disguise among human society. They feed on human innards, and take possession of memories from the brains of people they eat. These acquired memories help them better disguise themselves within human society.
In recent years, a secret society discovers a way of implanting demon bodies and body parts into humans, to create hybrids more powerful than the original demons. Hybrid`s standard abilities include faster healing, limited shape modification, the ability to detect other demons and hybrids, and overall enhanced physical prowess. Almost all hybrids are created against their will; they are typically survivors of families attacked by demons. The only exception is the lead character, who volunteered to become a hybrid to avenge her family. The society sends hybrids to towns that can afford their fares to kill demons, although not every hybrid does so willingly (this is implied in the manga.) The society is often strict and harsh; hybrids who break the rules risk being hunted down by their fellow hybrids.

The 1920`s were well known as a period of excitement and change. It was a time where the women were fast and loose, and the booze flowed freely, in spite of prohibition laws. For the elite of society, they have found a new form of excess, conjuring devils. By 1928, things were getting out of hand.
A special organization called the "Order of Magdalene" was created centurys ago to deal with this kind of threat. Headed by Father Remington and Sister Kate, these young men and women are equipped with heavy duty weapons for then to perform God`s good will.
One of the more infamous members of this group is Sister Rosette. Her fame isn`t necessarily positive. In fact, Sister Kate thinks she is nothing more than a menace to society, because whenever Rosette is on a case, things tend to explode. It also doesn`t help that Rosette`s partner is one of the very things they fight against, a very powerful devil named Chrono. Bound to Rosette by a mystical amulet, Chrono may be under control, but that doesn`t make him any less dangerous.
While Rosette and Chrono fight for the Magdalene Order, something is stiring in the background. An evil, more powerful than Chrono, is waiting in the wings, ready to destroy not only the Order, but all of creation!

Story:
In the near future, personal computers take the form of attractive women, called Persocons. Hideki Motosuwa is a poor student who failed his entrance exams to get into college. So, Hideki is forced to move to the city, get a job, and attend cram school in hopes of passing the next college entrance exam. He of course wants a Persocon for himself, but is way too poor to afford one. One day, while passing a building, he finds a Persocon in a trash heap. However, his new find doesn`t seem to be like the others he`s heard about. She doesn`t seem to have any operating system at all, and only says "Chii". As Hideki learns more about his Persocon (aptly named "Chii"), he finds out that she is not of any known type, and most likely some sort of homemade model. He also learns of the rumor of the "Chobits", Persocons with the ability to think for themselves, instead of running only complex programs. Find out what happens between Hideki and his new Persocon, as she learns more about her environment, people, and life.
